When I was in India, I learned that I don’t know anything. In secret, I thought I knew it all, but really, I don’t know anything. I spent a lot time appreciating that I didn’t know anything, but still wanting to understand and analyze and tackle with my mind. For me, right now it’s about being present–being in the moment. When the mind is silent, you’re able to just be. I realize how often I spend time, consciously and unconsciously, dwelling about the past and worrying about the future and letting my mind rob something beautiful from me, which is being totally present in the moment. This is why breathing is so important. You get in the moment. When you’re in the moment, you really feel different–more alive.
